No oil! Do you hear me? No oil!

No, olive oil is not good for health. I will speak again: Olive oil is not good for the heart!

Oil is a refined product. One tablespoon of olive oil is equivalent to a bottle of olives.

There are several other more reliable sources of fat and natural that your body can use: avocado, coconut, nuts, seeds (sesame), etc..

Let's make things crystal clear: Of the oils, olive oil is one that does less harm to health. Claiming that a car is not red does not mean it is blue. Likewise the claim that to consume olive oil instead of saturated fat raises less cholesterol does not mean that the oil reduces your cholesterol. (Search "dr vogel olive oil" on Google)

If you do not want to cut oil from your diet, okay. But not dump it in the salad as if it were the true nectar of the unclothened arteries, but do as the old days, a little wire of oil, remember?

Dr. Caldwell B. Esselstyn argues for a specific diet to reverse atherosclerosis (the leading cause of death in the western world), called RAVE Diet (no Refined food, no Animals ingredients, no Vegetable oils, no Exceptions):

Angiogram after approx. 60 months on a diet based on vegetables,
drastic reduction of refined oils and cholesterol-lowering medications.

Study (in English):

"Olive oil or butter, both clog the arteries of the heart the same way." At 30 minutes and 10 seconds of the video below, it's quite emphatic.

Update:

The oil that rises less cholesterol is equal to that cigarette in this 1960's advertising that causes less cough (recommended by doctors):
